Top Five Nail Polishes

How I dream of being able to paint my nails every week.... As I work with food I can't paint my nails regularly anymore! Le sigh! But when I do have free time, these are the colours I go for! I have noticed there is no theme which I go down when choosing my favourite nail colours.. There are two brights, one nude, one dark and one pastel colour. I'm pretty random I know! However these are all lovely polishes!

Also please note my artistic photography of these nail polishes on an old ladder... Very chic and modern. As Queen Iggy Azalea would put it 'fancy!' Anyway enough of my ramblings and onto my top five!

Maybelline Color Show in Orange Attack - Buy here!
Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Blackberry Buy here!
Rimmel London 60 Seconds in Caramel Cupcake - Buy here!
Barry M Nail Paint in Bright Purple - Buy here!
Revlon Nail Enamel in Electric - Buy here!

I just love these colours!! Perfect for spring and nights out! I especially love painting my toe nails when I wear my new shoes! Right now I've painted them with Bright Purple, I love the way the colour contrasts with the monochrome shoes.

I hope you've enjoyed my Sunday blogpost! My next post will be from the Confident & Beautiful series and will be up sometime next week! Hope you're all okay and have a great Mother's Day!

Thanks for reading!

Confident & Beautiful // Introduction and Skincare

As we all know beauty comes from deep within and isn't all about the makeup you wear! However! Most of us do have a love for makeup (I know I do) as it makes us feel more confident. Confidence is key to becoming beautiful. We should all be confident as we are strong individuals who have/will succeed in whatever we choose to do with our lives. You all must remember that. Seriously! I know I'm young and have loads of time ahead of me to experience new things and the so called 'meaning of life' but I truly believe that everyone has the right to be confident in what they do.

Skincare, makeup, fashion, health, socialisation... All these factors have an effect on our confidence. So I am creating this mini series called Confident and Beautiful to show you all how beautiful you all really are!! It doesn't matter if you use MAC makeup or Natural Collection makeup or if you wear Primark or Gucci, you're all beautiful.

There will be five parts to this series and I hope you all enjoy the posts as this is my first mini project on my blog! The first part is included with this introductionary post! Please comment any feedback you have!

SKINCARE

Before makeup and before leaving the house, you must all have a solid Skincare routine! Skincare to me is the most important part of being confident as on a bad skin day I wish to sometimes be invisible! I see a lot of girls instagramming and tweeting 'cleanse, tone, moisturise' but not everyone does this and some people do more than that!

In-shower skincare products (from left: Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Scrub, Avon Clearskin Blackhead Clearing Face Mask, Cien Facial Wash (from Lidl), Avon Planet Spa Heavenly Hydration Face Mask, No. 7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator).

For me, at the moment, my skin is transitioning to the warmer weather and is a bit confused. So I've been trying so hard to work out the best way to take good care of it. At the moment I exfoliate in the morning about three times a week, use a face mask once every two weeks, and remove my makeup at night at least five times a week... I'm lazy okay?! Everytime I remove my makeup I use a face wash afterwards to make sure my skin is squeaky clean!

Everyday skincare products (from left: Aveeno Moisturiser (prescribed for my eczema), Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+, Garnier Eye Roll On).

At the moment I prep my skin with a Garnier under eye roll on, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +, and then use a light moisturiser from Simple. So far! This is working for me. But, everyone's skin is different!! In the night I use the Aveeno Moisturiser as it is thicker and helps tame my dry patches. I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove my makeup - it is great!!

PRODUCT LOVE OF THE WEEK

Vaseline Spray On Body Moisturiser!!
Laziness in a bottle for a fiver
(Perfect for me!)

I hope you all enjoyed reading the first of my mini series! The next will be published in a fortnight, unless  you want it sooner! Thank you for reading!
