I recently read this article by Flo Perry and it made me laugh at how relatable it was. I've only just started my twenties and I already agree with the majority of the points made. I sometimes wonder if me not being able to stay out past 1am or taking my big, warm coat out with me makes me boring? But, now I have actually had time to sit down and think about it, I think it makes me sensible... Sensible doesn't always have to be boring... I have my moments!
In my mind I've grown out of going clubbing every student night and Saturday. Instead I like to go for drinks with my boyfriend and friends to the local and get some food to go with my drink of choice. Or even have a night in, watch a film with popcorn and cup of tea.
For months, I've considered myself the boring friend, but in reality I really don't think I'm alone in feeling this way and I'm so glad. I wish I could stay out until 5am dancing all night and wear heels, no tights and a strapless dress... But, I'm just over it. I'm starting to plan my future and definitely do not need a dreaded hangover whilst completing internship applications or updating my CV.
You might say I've grown up too quickly, but I believe that the twenties are the career-shaping years and I really do need to get planning my path in life. If this makes me a Grandma, pass me the knitting needles!
Do you embrace your inner Grandma? Let's be friends!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. This is just me summed up in a post. After going out so much I really enjoy getting in to bed early and getting a great nights sleep before work haha. I think it's great you feel so grown up at 20 :)

I love how much I can relate to this. I'm 21 and haven't been out in months and when I do I hate the 2 day hangover so it puts me off going out even more
