Closet Confidential Tag // Tag Week

So this is the second post in the Tag Week here on Hannah Notes. I thought I'd pick a fashion tag! Hope you like my Picmonkey skills and also the week of tags! I want to say a massive thanks to the previous blogs I tagged who did the posts! I find tags such a lovely way to meet new bloggers and socialise! Enough of my friends chat and on with the tag!

1. What is the oldest item in your wardrobe/closet?
The dress I wore on my 17th birthday... This was the first item of clothing I remember searching for online for ages. I feel like from then on, I began to develop my style, the way I wanted to. 

2. What is the newest item?
I was in Primark the other day and found this pair of denim shorts for only £10 so I had to pick them up!

3. What is the most expensive item?
To most of you, this might not seem too expensive but to me £40 for a playsuit is a lot of money. I'm a bargain hunter okay? The embroidered playsuit was worth every penny though. 

4. What is the cheapest/most affordable item? (that you wear/use a lot!)
These two Topshop basic crop tops were two for £10 and I wear them quite often. They're a nice material too and look really good with high waisted jeans/leggings.

5. What was the biggest bargain?
Sequin dresses are a must have during the Winter season but aren't they all so expensive?! The ones from Motel Rocks range from £50-£70 which is ridiculous! I was browsing Missguided last year and found this dress in the sale for £15.45. Yes. That is right. What a steal.

6. What was the biggest waste of money?!
I buy a lot of random crap online when I'm bored... Especially from China. Here are some examples of dresses which were all less than £15 but so not worth the money. The white dress is see through and way too small. The black dress I fell in love with, the material is lovely too, however, the length of this dress is way too short for me. I'm thinking of transforming this into a top?

Would You Rather? // Tag Week

So this week I felt like running a theme on my blog. My three weekly posts are all going to be tags! I love tags as I get to find out more about the blogger behind the blog. I'm also experimenting with photography and picmonkey at the moment, so let me know if you like the pictures in the post or not in the comments below! This is the first tag I selected and it's quite fun to think of what you would chose. I'm going to tag five blogs for each post, so that's fifteen blogs that will be tagged in total, by the end of the week. I hope you enjoy this weeks posts, now... On with the tag!

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

I would rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows.... Yes this includes my Naked palette, yikes!

2. Would you rather chop all of your hair off or never be able to cut it again?

Chop off all my hair... It can grow back no problem!

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Pink cheek! Coral doesn't seem to suit my pale skin as much.

4. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

I would buy makeup.. I have an addiction. I admit that. It's ongoing and will never stop.

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Eyeliner as lipstick, it's long lasting and there are a variety of colours.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

MAC, I want the whole makeup range.

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

One eyeshadow colour! I love lipstick waaaaay too much. My collection is forever growing! The eyeshadow I'd pick would probably Virgin from the Urban Decay Naked Palette.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

Winter clothes in the Summer.

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Bright nails so they uplift my mood on cloudy days!

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip colour or favourite eye product?

Favourite eye product... As I said I love lip colours way too much.

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?

I'm a ponytail kinda gal.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

Never use lipgloss. I prefer stains and balms.

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

Sharpie them in everyday.. I could find a brown sharpie with a fine nib....... Couldn't I?

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Nail polish hands down!

Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit // Review

I've been testing out this product since December and now I'm finally writing my thoughts on the Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit! Last year, I really jumped on the brows bandwagon and decided I needed to invest in an eyebrow product ASAP! Thanks to Tanya Burr, I realised I needed an eyebrow powder to make my brows look natural but still filled in. I did try an eyebrow pencil before but it just wasn't making the cut! I looked around and never really picked anything up until one say when I was browsing through the Avon catalogue (as you do) and I came across this eyebrow kit. I'm not a brow genius so an eyebrow kit sounded ideal for me!

MY NATURAL BROWS

My brows are really thick and really dark.. Every girls dream right?! They're quite difficult to manage and I should pluck them more often, but I get so lazy with my brows! Even though they're thick, there are little patches which I would like to fill in with a brow product. I also fill in my brows so they stand out in photos as without any product on my brows they disappear in photos and I end up looking alien haha!

PACKAGING

The packaging of this product is simple and I like that about it. The black plastic casing makes it easy to clean. It also comes with a mini double sided angled brush which I didn't really like as it was too thick and I couldn't get a natural finish to my brows. I just use my own angled brush now.

PRODUCT

The product itself is really nice to work with. I don't always use the wax, but when I do I use it to take my wild fly aways! The only downside to the product is that when the wax gets into the powder it makes is almost seperate. I had to scrape the powder to get the wax off which was kind of a waste. Other than that, the Avon Perfect Eyebrow Kit gives a really nice finish to my brows and it'll last me ages!

Wish List // Holiday

I'm going on holiday on the 30th of June and I have been searching everywhere for things to take with me. Now, I probably do not need any of these items and I'll probably end up only buying two or three things from this this, but, nevertheless, I NEED to share them with you all!

Wow I'm so in love with all of these!!! The daisy co-ord from Daisy Street is absolutely perfect for a Summer holiday like mine! Definitely need to get the Bourjois CC Cream too because I don't want to take a full coverage foundation on holiday with me. A new pair of denim shorts won't go a miss either haha!

I didn't include a swimsuit in this wish list because I managed to bag a massive bargain! I found this pineapple print bikini for £5... That's right, a fiver!! I bought it in the Tesco sale, so rush out NOW! It's neon too, so if I tan, it'll make me look even more bronzed goddess than usual!
